DECORATION AND RENOVATION STAGES

1. Preliminary Preparation and Planning

Needs Analysis

  • Determining the areas to be renovated and taking their measurements

Time Planning

  • Planning the renovation process and stage dates

2. Design Phase

Spatial – Layout Planning

  • Layout plan: kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and other areas
  • Determining furniture and cabinet placements within each area
  • Arranging living and resting areas
  • Planning storage solutions and cabinet designs

Material and Product Selection

  • Flooring:
    • Parquet (engineered, laminate, solid)
    • Ceramic tiles for wet areas, corridors and kitchen

    • Replacement of interior doors
    • Sliding kitchen door design
    • Renewal of the inner panel of the apartment entrance door
  • Walls:

3. Renovation Process

Demolition / Removal

  • Dismantling existing doors, parquet flooring and cabinets
  • Demolishing Ytong (aerated concrete) partition walls where necessary
  • Building a new wall for the kitchen sliding door
  • If necessary, demolishing the Ytong wall between the kitchen and balcony and creating an intermediate partition
  • Renewal of plumbing and pipes
  • Replacement of bathroom and balcony floor drains
  • Checking the heating system installation and renewing it if necessary

Infrastructure Works

  • Renewal of the necessary electrical installation, switches and socket locations
  • Renewal of plumbing
  • Checking heat and sound insulation and redoing where required
  • Applying bathroom waterproofing

Construction Works

  • Plaster, render, floor screed levelling works
  • Construction of new walls and niches
  • Ceiling works (plasterboard ceilings)

Finishing / Cladding Works

  • Ceramic tile installation

KITCHEN DECORATION

1. General Information

  • Kitchen style: Modern, clean lines, predominantly white
  • White goods: Siemens (white color)
  • Layout: Hob + sink on the main countertop line
  • Worktop length: Approximately 3 meters

2. Area Analysis

Existing Structure

  • Designing a recessed / pocket sliding door into the side wall at the kitchen entrance
  • It is recommended to position the hob and sink on the same line
  • Maximum usable height for upper cabinets should be planned

Functional Requirements

  • A comfortable and uninterrupted working area
  • Leaving appropriate cabinet height for the desired refrigerator dimensions
  • Increasing storage capacity with pull–out larder units
  • A Kale T-One porcelain worktop surface and backsplash panels that are easy to clean and suitable for cutting directly on the surface

3. Layout Plan

Countertop Line Arrangement (Sample Order)

Upper Cabinets

  • Maximum height upper cabinets with integrated units above the sink
  • Hood above the hob and, if necessary, an upper cabinet module

Base Cabinets

  • Drawer and storage modules
  • Waste bin system (mounted on the cabinet door under the sink)
  • Oven cabinet and bottom drawer

4. Material and Color Selection

Cabinets

  • Fronts: White lacquer or acrylic
  • Carcasses: MDFLAM

Worktop

  • Kale T-One (Turkey) porcelain
  • Belenko (Italy) porcelain and/or
  • Dekton (Spain) porcelain

Flooring

  • Products from Çanakkale Seramik / Kütahya Seramik

5. Lighting Plan

  • General spot lighting
  • Under–cabinet LED strip lighting along the worktop
  • Decorative LED strip lighting inside cabinets

6. Installation Requirements

Electrical

  • Dedicated (separate) line for the hob
  • At least 3 sockets above the countertop
  • Project drawings and required IGDAŞ approvals for relocation of the boiler
  • New natural gas piping system for the boiler and hob
  • Creating ventilation grille openings at the required points

Water

  • Positioning the sink and dishwasher on the same line

Ventilation

  • Planning the duct route for the hood outlet to the exterior of the building

  • Checking worktop and cabinet interior/under-cabinet lighting
  • Checking for leaks in water supply and waste lines
  • Testing the extraction performance of the hood
